Summary
GridGrab processes extracted table and grid data locally in your browser. We do not receive, store, or sell your table contents, dashboard data, or exported files on our servers.
What GridGrab processes on your device
- DOM structure of pages you actively use with the extension (tables, grids, lists)
- Extracted datasets, cleaning choices, and export files generated locally
- Saved recipes and extension settings in Chrome local storage (chrome.storage.local)
What we send over the network
License validation (Pro/Power only): When you enter a license key, the extension sends that key to our license API (Cloudflare Worker), which validates it with Lemon Squeezy. No page content, URLs, or extracted rows are included in validation requests.
Website: If you visit this marketing site, normal server logs (IP, user-agent, pages requested) may apply as described by your host/analytics setup—not extension table data.
What we do not do
- No background scraping of tabs you aren't using
- No sale or rental of user data
- No analytics that collect page contents or extracted tables
- No bypass of login, CAPTCHA, paywalls, or technical protections
- No requirement to create an account for free local use
Legal bases (EEA/UK, where applicable)
- Contract / legitimate interest: Providing the extension and validating paid licenses.
- Consent: Only where you opt in to optional communications (e.g. newsletter on the umbrella site—not part of the extension core).
Retention
- On device: Until you uninstall the extension or clear extension data.
- License server: Validation logs, if any, kept minimal and only as long as needed for fraud prevention and support (e.g. 90 days if you log at all).
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of personal data we hold (e.g. support emails). Contact [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children
GridGrab is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
International transfers
License validation may involve processors (Cloudflare, Lemon Squeezy) in the US or other countries with appropriate safeguards where required.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
